Space Cat at the Producers Club

Space Cat is a brief animated comedy that follows an astronaut and her pet cat. One regular morning, she leaves her cat alone in the spaceship bedroom. What will occur when the gravity decreases?

The short film is helmed by Qinglan Li and Zipei Zhang. It has been chosen as an official entry at the New York Independent Art Film Fest and will be shown at the Producers Club on November 17th.

Qinglan Li is a graduate student studying Computer Arts at the School of Visual Arts. Skilled in 3D animation and a generalist, she is dedicated to creating vibrant, stylized artworks that bring joy and laughter to viewers.

Zipei Zhang is a storyboard artist and animator with expertise in 2D and 3D animation. Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Computer Arts at the School of Visual Arts, she delights in experimenting with new animation techniques. Zipei has produced various personal independent short animations that demonstrate her talent and creativity in the field.
